The New Hope-Solebury School District is seeking applicants for a long term substitute, part-time, non-instructional assistant at the Lower Elementary School to provide support for students during lunch and recess. The positon's hours will be from 10:15 a.m. - 2:15 p.m.

Job Duties:

*Monitor and coordinate the lunch/recess program for grades K-2

*Support a safe, positive learning environment for students during lunch and outside at recess

*Communicate with staff and administration regarding lunch/recess concerns/needs

*Work collaboratively with other assistants to best support all students

*Communicate with nurse/guidance counselor regarding health issues or student needs

*Work with parent volunteers

*Assist teaching staff or librarian with clerical functions

*Additional responsbilities as assigned by building administration

Qualifications:

*High School Diploma

*Related experience is beneficial

*Must posess basic computer skills for clerical demands of the job
