New Hope-Solebury School District is accepting applications for the position of an Purchasing Specialist in the District Office whose main focus is purchasing.
The position will coordinate all school district purchasing, bidding and fixed asset inventory tracking, pay athletic officials, act as a back up to Accounts Payable as well as the following:
- Maintain vendor files
- Review all purchase orders for appropriate back up paperwork and correct account codes.
- Distribute all purchase orders to vendors and necessary internal staff.
- Process District online orders with specific vendors.
- Reconcile District procurement card purchases and complete related orders.
- Set up new vendors in software and obtain necessary paperwork, including Form W9.
- Request budget transfers when necessary.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Skilled in all applications of MS Office and Accounting Software, preferably SunGard/eFinancePlus
- Strong accounting background
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
