Assist the Head Coach in planning, organizing, and supervising the middle school winter track and field program in accordance with District policies and applicable league regulations.

Support the instruction and supervision of student-athletes during indoor practices, outdoor cold-weather sessions, meets, and related team activities.

Conduct and assist with practices that emphasize fundamental skill development, indoor conditioning, teamwork, and safe participation in winter training environments.

Instruct student-athletes in track and field fundamentals, including indoor running events, relays, and field events as assigned.

Help evaluate athlete performance and provide constructive feedback to support individual improvement and team development.

Promote and model appropriate conduct, sportsmanship, and respect for teammates, opponents, officials, and the school community.

Support the academic success, well-being, and positive development of student-athletes in alignment with District expectations.

Assist with meet preparation and management—including indoor venue setup, warm-ups, event organization, athlete supervision, and equipment transport/breakdown.

Communicate effectively and professionally with student-athletes, parents/guardians, administrators, and athletic department staff regarding winter schedule changes, weather adjustments, and event details.

Ensure compliance with District policies, league rules, and safety protocols, including supervision, cold-weather safety, eligibility, and reporting requirements.

Uphold and enforce District codes of conduct, team rules, and expectations.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or Athletic Director.
